Joshua Creek is considered a walking school, with less than 5% of students taking the bus. The school is part of the Halton Food for Thought Program, which provides snacks before or during school hours at no cost to ensure every student has access to healthy food. There is also a hot lunch program available to students with easy 24/7 online ordering. Iroquois Ridge High School is the public secondary school for students in the Joshua Creek and Wedgewood Creek Neighbourhoods. According to the Fraser Institute, the school has an 8.9 score, ranking tenth out of the 739 secondary schools in Ontario. It’s tied for first place as the highest-rated school in Halton. Iroquois Ridge offers programming for grades nine through twelve as well as French Immersion and is home to over 1350 learners. The school has a beautiful location, close to a community rec centre with a pool, library, fitness centre, and skateboard park.

4. Oakville Christian School  

The mission of Oakville Christian School is to “nurture excellence in a Christ-centered academic environment. The school strives to create a welcoming atmosphere with a strong sense of community. 5. Walden International School
